I recently had my HVAC system replaced. Mitch Craig did an excellent job and gave me excellent price to go with it. Everyone was professional and helpful. They answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend them.

They were at my house about 3 hours after I called in the morning. I got the most basic thermostat, a non-programmable $50 thermostat and was charged $335. I have replaced a thermostat before and could have done it. It is a very simple process. 30 minutes if you don't know what you're doing and want to really read and reread the directions to make sure you're doing everything correctly, but for a professional, not even 10 minutes, 5 minutes. The reason I had called a company rather than doing it myself is because it had burnt up inside so I was scared to replace it in case there was a potentially serious electrical issue. The gentleman that came in looked at the inside of the thermostat with the front off and within a minute said he believes it is just the thermostat. He also did tell me the price up front And again I said yes because of the issue with the thermostat having burnt on the inside I wanted to make absolutely sure once it was installed that it would start working and it did. I do understand that I'm paying for someone to come out to look at it with their expertise and tell me what they think it is and to replace a thermostat but why did I have to pay $335 for that? It seems a bit excessive. This was not a repair. The gentleman didn't have to crawl under the house to look at my unit or anything. It was during the day not in the evening and not on the weekend.

Last month, the A/C went out on a Saturday night. I contacted the on‑call technician, Clayton, who provided outstanding service. His response time was excellent. He clearly explained what was causing the issue, walked me through the repair process, and patiently answered all my questions. I highly recommend this company.

Let me start by stating I have a pretty strong knowledge of how HVAC systems work and the costs associated with repair... With the being said... I couldn't be happier with my interactions with Mitch Craig's staff. My air conditioner started freezing over in the hot August heat. I had a different company come charge the A/C and it went out again. I wasn't able get the other company to come back in a timely manner and needed a repair option. I drive by the Mitch Craig office off of I65 in Sellersburg daily so I decided to call them for options. Mitch Craigs office scheduled me quickly and Mike came out the same day. Mike was able to determine a pretty back leak in the A Coil (witnessed the leak myself). They gave me the option to replace the (outdated) 410a coil or the option of full replacement. I fully understood the risks of replacing the coil with only a 1 year warranty on the part as it was outdated and the risk that I may have to spend considerably more money if the system had any further issues as 410a has been discontinued. I was given a very reasonable estimate to replace the full system and decided that was my best option long term and provided full piece of mind. Mitch Craigs staff was able to install the new system in a timely manner and I never felt pressured to make a decision for the more costly full replacement. These guys were great and I will gladly recommend them! Thank you.

From the very first step Mitch Craig Heating and Cooling proved themselves as a highly professional, honest and knowledgeable. They are 10 steps above all the other guys out there. My family's experience is that we made a call based on online reviews. An appointment was made for the very next morning at 8:30 a.m., A representative from Mitch Craig was David he arrived exactly on time this was impressive from the very beginning. David was very thorough he looked throughout our heating and cooling and knew exactly what we needed. We were able to get a quote right then and there, and let me say this quote was better than any I'd had even in the past. We took the rest of the day to get the financing in order made the call that we were ready that day that evening, we received a call from Bill within an hour asking if it would be okay if they came the next morning at 9:00 a.m. to install our units. I have health issues and the heat was really messing with my health and they understood that so well that they made us a priority, it was amazing to hear we were truly truly touched. Our technicians were Carver and Devan , they arrived at exactly 9:00 a.m. as promised we weren't given a window we were given a time and they arrived exactly when they said they would They were prepared immediately They were so friendly. They were friendly with our dogs unbothered by them ,were very courteous and clean. They explained every process and everything that they were doing and why with each step of the way just as David the day before had explained everything to us in detail and in writing. It only took few hours for them to install both our inside and outside unit and with within 2 hours My house was cool enough that myself and my dogs started to come back to our normal selves. I cannot describe in words enough how grateful and how wonderful this whole experience had been from that very first phone call. If you need a new system like we did or if you just need a repair I urge you to give Mitch Craig a call because it is my opinion and my families that they are the best at what they do. You won't find a better price or a better system than through them. They hauled away all the old equipment so we didn't even have to deal with that. It would be the best decision you ever make when it comes to heating and cooling your home or business. I hope that they see this review so that I can say once again thank you so so so much we really are so grateful for you and all that you do.

My husband and I were noticing condensation on our air ducts and called for an inspection. Chris came and looked at everything for us. He was very nice and professional and gave us helpful suggestions on how to prevent the issue. The pricing of his visit was a reasonable price and he didn't try to push any sales on us, which was a relief to us. I felt like he had our best interests in mind and truly wanted to help us with our issue. We will definitely call them in the future.
